Vista Ridge UMC has Sunday School classes for all children beginning at the age of 2 from 9:45 to 10:45.  We use a "team teaching" approach and the church provides the curriculums for the teachers.  Elementary-age children attend "Awesome Adventures", a rotational model where the teachers visit a different classroom each week.  Shepherds, who stay with the same set of children each week, and act as guides but do not have to prepare a lesson are needed.  We are also in need of teachers. 

Our older elementary youth attend "Youth, Junior" during this same hour to learn to have a deeper understanding of God and how the bible relates personally to each of them. 

We are always in need of substitutes for all age groups.  The age groups are as follows:

Preschool--Ages 2-3

Pre-K--Age 4

Kindergarten

Awesome Adventures Shepherds for grades 1 through 4

Awesome Adventures Teachers for grades 1 through 4

Youth Junior--for grade 5

Nursery is provided for children, ages 0 - 1 year, during all Worship Celebrations.
