Prayer Angels
Prayer Angels is a large group of VRUMC members who receive prayer requests electronically from our church family. If you would like to submit a request for prayer, please email them to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and it will be distributed immediately to our online prayer team. If you would like to participate in this prayer community, all that is required is an active email address and access to a computer with internet connection.

All requests are first received by our lead Prayer Angel and then distributed accordingly. All are welcome to participate. Prayer Book
The VRUMC Prayer Book is located on a table outside of the sanctuary. All requests are lifted up both during the service and throughout the week. Sunday Morning Prayer Ministry
The Sunday Morning Prayer Ministry meets from 8:00-8:15 a.m. every Sunday to pray for everyone that will be involved in Christ's ministry for the day. All are welcome to join us in prayer on Sunday mornings. We meet in the Associate Pastor's office prior to the first service.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry
There are a group of men and women of VRUMC who gather to study the Scriptures, praying for needs and concerns of the member and friends of Vista Ridge, the surrounding community, and the global church community. They are the church's intercessors - the gatekeepers, and the ones who stand in the gap for others. These Scriptures are the foundation for the ministry:

• 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (NRSV) - Pray without ceasing.
• Isaiah 55:11 (NRSV) -So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
• Jeremiah 33:3 (NRSV) - Call to me, and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things, that you have not known.
• 1 Peter 5:7(NRSV) - Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

If you have a deep passion for people, their spiritual and physical welfare, and a desire to seek God's will for the well being of all humanity, join with us on Thursday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Prayer Requests
